There’s a new movement in this country and it’s spelled S-T-U-P-I-D

New York city transit workers went on strike last week, paralyzing the city and proving once again that two plus two equals five. Sound crazy? Well, you’re right. No more crazy, however, than Al Sharpton and TWU president Roger Toussaint claiming this strike is a “civil rights” movement, instead of a bunch of selfish morons who want better benefits than everyone else in the city. In the old days, unions helped the average guy get a better wage and work in a safer environment. Now unions just choke the life out of companies and taxpayers to provide astronomical benefits to those who don’t deserve it. They’re no longer “average” guys because they have it better than most. Since unions are having a tough time selling the fantasy that they’re helping the poor, downtrodden masses, they’re changing gears to pretend anyone who opposes them is a racist. Unions should just cut to the chase and go on strike for the “zero-hour work week.” After all, that’s the only way to make things fair for blacks, Hispanics, Asians, gays, lesbians, short people, guys with weird last names, and fat chicks.

Stanley "Tookie" Williams put to death. Liberal whiners make trek all the way from Fantasy Land to complain.

Tookie Willims, one of the founders of the street gang the Crips, was executed after 21 years on death row for killing 4 people in a hotel. For some bizarre reason, some people, including actors and musicians, are upset about it. Protestors against capitol punishment argue that the death penalty isn’t fair, perhaps because the killings happened a long time ago to people they didn’t know. Protestors also played the race card, claiming Tookie was a victim or something. The word “conspiracy” was mentioned more than once. Although no details were given, some speculate that the police may "have it in" for gang members and criminals, leading to allegations of discrimination. Others said his anti-gang message and books were helping people, although since gang violence and killing has increased over the last 20 years and gang members have no idea who Tookie is, no one is sure why anyone would say that. The only thing we know for sure today is that the protestors are really dumb…or perhaps that’s a conspiracy, too.

Man shot in Miami Airport. Tblog says: “Keep up the good work, boys.”

So a guy goes nuts in the Miami airport and gets himself shot. The next thing you know, people are trying to blame the air marshals, as if they didn’t do the right thing. What is wrong with this country? Why are people so stupid? What happened to individual responsibility? Why do I keep asking questions when I know I’m not going to get answers?

There was a time when this country was great. We saved the world, you know. That time has past. This country is now filled with weak, selfish, small-minded people with no backbone. Anyone who thinks this “accident” could have been avoided is an idiot. You either have security at airports or you don’t have security at airports. When a crazy guy starts running around yelling “I have a bomb,” he deserves to get shot, sick or not. What’s the alternative, not doing anything? If the guy really did have a bomb and the marshals didn’t shoot him and he blew something up, everybody would be mad about that.

If only I were in charge, things would be different…

‘Inside Edition’ should change its name to ‘Inside Sensationalized Crap’

HAULED AWAY Imagine a police officer coming aboard a school bus and hauling off a student who says she's done nothing wrong! As Inside Edition reports that's exactly what happened in Florida, and it was caught on tape.

On 11/29/05, Inside Edition ran a story that a policeman in Florida stopped a school bus and hauled off a 13-year-old girl who “didn’t do anything.” They also showed a few moments of video proving their point. Of course, in typical IE fashion, they cut the video to the point where the cop hauled her off the bus, ignoring the all-important video BEFORE that point to see what the girl said and/or did to the policeman. It turned out someone on that bus threw a golfball out one of the windows while they were on a highway, hitting another vehicle’s windshield. The policeman stopped the bus and yelled at the kids (understandably) and then the trouble started. There is no way this girl just politely said “I didn’t do it” but IE will never tell anyone that. We’ll have to wait until the entire video is posted somewhere else, just like another video IE aired showing a school bus driver beating a child on a bus. They never showed the whole video, and when I saw it, I realized the kid was cursing like a drunken sailor at the driver and needed a good beating. I guess IE’s position is that kids who recklessly endanger other people shouldn’t be punished as long as they say they “didn’t do anything.”
